چکیده
Background: Anti-NOR 90 autoantibodies (anti-NOR90 Ab) are that target nucleolar transcription factor 1 or hUBF, involved in of RNA polymerase I. These have been detected 6.1% patients with Systemic Sclerosis (SSc), but their clinical prognostic significance has not clearly defined. Anti-NOR90 Ab mostly associated limited scleroderma mild organ involvement and can also be found other rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus Sjogren’s syndrome. Objectives: The aim this study was to identify the main characteristics positive anti-NOR90 our Centre. Methods: This is a retrospective, descriptive, cross-sectional all between January 2013 December 2020 single center. Autoantibodies testing performed using Euroimmun EUROLINE SSc profile IgG autoAb assay kit. Patient demographics, characteristics, diagnoses, laboratory immunological findings were collected. Results: We identified total 26 at least value for (Table 1). In most cases ANA positive, predominantly pattern coexisted autoantibodies. 12 had two SSc, both cutaneous absence involvement. 14 no definite diagnosis. Clinical features represented Figure 1. Five presented Raynaud’s phenomenon, pathological nailfold capillaroscopy one patient SSc. There skin ulcers, calcinosis, interstitial lung disease pulmonary hypertension. Four gastroesophageal reflux antral vascular ectasia. Six developed some neoplasm. patients. Conclusion: case series multiple heterogeneity manifestations. did observe further progression presence severe scleroderma, so these could related favorable prognosis. contrast previous reports, striking association cancer population. Segue between favorable and unfavorable solvation.
Solvation of small and large clusters are studied by simulation, considering a range of solvent-solute attractive energy strengths. Over a wide range of conditions, both for solvation in the Lennard-Jones liquid and in the SPC model of water, it is shown that the mean solvent density varies linearly with changes in solvent-solute adhesion or attractive energy strength. This behavior is understo...
متن کاملThe likelihood of death from prostate cancer in men with favorable or unfavorable intermediate-risk disease.
BACKGROUND Recently, men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer (PC) were classified into favorable and unfavorable categories; however, whether the risk of PC-specific mortality (PCSM) among men with high-risk PC versus unfavorable intermediate-risk PC is increased is unknown. METHODS In a prospective, randomized trial conducted between 1995 and 2001, 206 men with intermediate-risk or high-r...

متن کاملUnfavorable prognosis of nephroblastoma in adults
Wilms' tumor is the most common type of malignant kidney tumor in children. Due to the fact that this type of cancer is so rare in adults, however, there is a significant lack of treatment strategies in this age group. Moreover, the treatment of adults is often based on protocols used in children. The present report describes a case of a 25-year-old male with nephroblastoma stage IV, who had a ...
متن کاملAndrogen deprivation therapy and the risk of death from prostate cancer among men with favorable or unfavorable intermediate-risk disease.
BACKGROUND Radiotherapy (RT), short-course androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), and brachytherapy in various combinations are treatment options for patients with intermediate-risk prostate cancer (PC), but the question of which combination if any is necessary to minimize PC-specific mortality (PCSM) risk in patients with favorable or unfavorable intermediate-risk PC is unknown. The authors asses...
